Born 1971 in Zurich, Switzerland, I was musically influenced during the ’80s by the likes of Yello and Depeche Mode. Then, in the ’90s, I found my groove with Techno and House music – even trying my hand as a DJ. Moving into the 2000s, I co-founded the Electropop project “Chekov & Gagarin” with my buddy Michael. Unfortunately, it only lasted as long as one album and a single release – not exactly a world tour, eh?
During the COVID era, I decided to give things another spin with the project “Yuri Cosmonaut.” I managed to churn out 10 tracks and wrap it up with a finale of an album as music cassette in 2023. But now, in the autumn of that very same year, I’ve decided to go under my own name. I’m here to bring you some melancholic music by choice, primarily as a form of self-therapy. Music as the ultimate soul salve, you might say. Let’s hope it works.

Me eating tagliatelle in Siena – one of my favourite pleasures.
